Number of Players: 2 players

Game Setup
  • Prepare a deck of at least 10 cards in the center of the table.

  • Shuffle all cards thoroughly.

  • Deal 5 cards to each player.

  • Place the remaining cards face down in a draw pile.

  • The player who has most recently fed an animal starts the game.

Gameplay

Turn Sequence:
The first player secretly chooses one card from their hand and places it face down.
Then, they announce one of the following five comparisons:

  1. “My card’s score is higher/lower than yours.”

  2. “My animal lives on more/fewer continents than yours.”

  3. “My animal is heavier/lighter than yours.”

  4. “My animal is shorter/taller than yours.”

  5. “My animal has a more/less diverse diet than yours.”

The other player also chooses one card from their hand and places it face down.
Both cards are then revealed at the same time, and the announced comparison is evaluated.

End of the Round:

  • The player who wins the comparison takes all cards played that round.

  • If both cards are equal or result in a tie, the cards remain in the middle.

  • At the end of each round, both players draw cards from the deck to restore their hand to 5 cards.

  • If the draw pile runs out, players continue using only the cards remaining in their hands.

  • The next round begins with the other player taking the first turn.

When a player runs out of cards, the game proceeds to the end phase.
If one player still has cards left in hand, those cards do not count toward scoring.

End of the Game and Winning

At the end of the game, both players total the points on the cards they have won.
The player with the highest total score wins.

If there is a tie, the player with the most “sad face” icons on their cards wins.
If it is still tied, the players share the victory.
